学習院理学部化学科　秋山研究室

　Our research focuses on development of new synthetic strategies. We reported in 2004 that chiral phosphoric acid derived from (R)-BINOL functioned as chiral Bronsted acid catalyst for the first time. Since then, a range of chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed reactions have been developed in the worldwide. The Akiyama group focuses on extending the synthetic utility of the chiral phosphoric acid for the preparation of useful organic compounds and development of useful synthetic reactions. 　

2019/09/19: Our paper published in Chem. Commun. was selected as the front cover picture.
2016/11/19: Mr. Hiroki Kishi (M2) was awarded as Best C&FC 2016 Poster Presentation at C&FC2016, which was held in Taipei on November 10-14, 2016.
2016/10/07: Professor Takahiko Akiyama wins the Arthur C. Cope Scholar Award of the American Chemical Society
2015/12/10: Professor Akiyama received Humboldt Research Award.
2015/08/18: Professor Takahiko Akiyama wins the Arthur C. Cope Scholar Award of the American Chemical Society
2015/06/24: Dr. SÁNCHEZ, Ignacio Ibánez (University of Valencia, Spain) joined our research group as a postdoctoral fellow.
2015/04/07: Dr. Takuya Suga joined as a post doctoral fellow.
2015/04/05: Dr. Masamichi Miyagawa joined as an assistant professor.
2015/04/01: Dr. Kodai Saito was promoted to Assistant Professor at Keio University.
2015/04/01: Dr. Keiji Mori was promoted to Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
