講演題目：From Stereoselective Catalysis to Fine-Tuned Properties using Reactive Metal Carbenes, Ylides & Superstable Carbocations
場所：南7号館101室

Summary of lecture: Research in the group aims at the preparation of chiral salts and ylides, and their use in synthetic (asymmetric) chemistry in a broad sense. Recent progress on metal-catalyzed reactions will be presented – and those involving ylide intermediates and then functionally rich heterocyclic derivatives in particular. Studies on the synthesis and properties of cationic [4] and [6]helicenes will be also highlighted along with strategies to fine-tune many properties, including chiroptical.

Lacour博士は，有機金属化学を用いた不斉合成反応の開発で顕著な業績をあげており，今回は，日本学術振興会の招へい研究者（長期）として来日されています。
